Thank you for your interest in joining WDSC for 2026 Season.

This form is for NEW PLAYERS Miniroos Boys/Mixed and Girls (U5-U12).

BEFORE you submit this application, please read carefully our PRE-REGISTRATION BRIEFING, it contains all registration information and changes being introduced at WDSC for 2026 Season.

Team placement sessions will take place in January 2026. You will be contacted by email with further details after submitting this form.

Terms and conditions

  • Wembley Downs Soccer Club Terms and Conditions for EOI New Players – 2026 Season Miniroos U5-U12 Boys/Mixed & Girls

    By registering with Wembley Downs Soccer Club (WDSC), the player and their parent/guardian agree to the following terms and conditions:
    1. Selection Process
    1.1. Selection Panel
    Team placement sessions (Gradings) will be run and reviewed by the Miniroos Coordinator and Selection Panel.
    1.2. Selection Criteria
    Players may be offered a place by invitation and subsequently allocated to a team based on, but not limited to:
    • Returning WDSC players numbers per age group and teams available.
    • Parental assistance availability.
    • Participation in a team placement session(s).
    • Player skill level and ability.
    • Attitude and sportsmanship.
    • Coachability and willingness to learn.
    • Team balance.
    • Previous playing experience (if any).
    • Friendships and school relationships (depending on age group).
    • Requests (Only exceptional cases will be considered for review).
    1.3. Communication
    All communication about EOI, team placement, and outcomes will be sent to the email you provide. Please make sure this email is accurate and checked regularly, as it is your responsibility to stay informed.

    2. Eligibility
    2.1. Age Requirements
    Players must fall within the specified age groups in the upcoming season, as outlined by Football West and Football Australia.
    2.2. Accurate Information
    You confirm that all information provided in the EOI is true and complete. False or misleading details may result in disqualification from the selection process.

    3. Fees and Payments
    3.1. There is no fee to submit an Expression of Interest.
    3.2. There is no fee for team placement session(s) (grading).
    3.3. After the team placement sessions have finished, all selected players will receive information on how to complete the registration in Play Football.
    3.4. Season Fees
    Confirmation to a team, will be conditional upon payment of the applicable registration fees by the stated deadlines. Full fee details will be provided with registration information.
    3.5. Academy Program Fees
    The Academy program is available for players from U10 to U12 Boys/Mixed and Girls.
    Should a player be successful in the team placement (grading) and be offered a place in the Academy, acceptance of that offer will be conditional upon payment of a deposit and the subsequent balance of the applicable registration and program fees by the specified deadlines. Detailed fee information will accompany any formal offer.

    4. Privacy and Data Protection
    4.1. Collection of Information
    By submitting an EOI, you consent to WDSC collecting and storing the personal information provided.
    4.2. Use of Information
    The information collected will be used to:
    • Manage the EOI and team placement process.
    • Communicate updates about team placement, academy offers and club activities.
    • Share relevant club news and events.
    4.3. Confidentiality
    All personal information will be handled in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and Australian Privacy Principles. It will not be shared with third parties for marketing purposes.     5. Medical Information and Consent
    5.1. Disclosure
    Please disclose in the EOI any medical conditions, allergies, or injuries relevant to the player’s participation in club activities. Any changes must be informed promptly to the coach and team manager or via the Contact form on our website: wembleydownssc.com
    5.2. Consent of Treatment
    In the event of a medical emergency during team placement sessions, training, games or any event at WDSC premises, and if a parent/guardian is unavailable, you authorise club officials to seek appropriate medical assistance.

    6. Photography and Media
    • You consent to WDSC capturing photos or videos of the player during team placement events, training, games and club activities.
    • These may be used for promotional purposes including social media, website, and publications.

    7. Code of Conduct
    • All players and parents/guardians must follow the WDSC Code of Conduct and those of Football West and Football Australia.
    • Respect for coaches, officials, volunteers, and fellow players is expected at all times. Breaches may result in exclusion from club activities or expulsion and deregistration.

    8. Limitation of Liability
    • Participation in soccer activities involves inherent risks.
    • To the extent permitted by law, you agree to release and indemnify WDSC and its representatives from any claims arising from injury, loss, or damage during team placement events, training, games and club activities.

    9. General
    9.1. Amendments
    WDSC reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time.
    9.2. Governing Law
    These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Western Australia.

    Acknowledgement
    By submitted the Expression of Interest, you confirm that:
    • You are the legal parent or guardian of the player named in the form.
    • You have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
    • All information provided is accurate and complete.
